Mark Wagner joined the automotive business in 1972. He worked in an automotive repair shop and attended college until 1975. From '75 to '81, Mark worked as an automotive technician in Mainz, Germany. There he attended the university and earned his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1986.

In 1987, he started his business in Germany and in 1990, he moved with his family to Bellevue, WA in the US. He purchased his first shop, Bellevue Transmission, in Bellevue, WA in March of 1991. The economy was tough, so for three years he worked seven days a week, without a single day off. By the end of three years, he had doubled his business. Since 1991, he has been serving the Eastside.

Mark opened his Kirkland location in 1995. In 1997, he opened his Redmond shop, and in 2000, he opened Mark's in Bellevue. In the same year, he expanded Bellevue Transmission when he purchased his second transmission shop in Bellevue, Wilson Transmission (founded in 1967).

Most recently, Mark opened his Issaquah shop in August of 2008.

From the first day of business, Mark and his crew have strived to please their customers and give them the best service and the best workmanship possible.

Mark's Japanese-European Auto stands behind their work 100% with a warranty that covers 15 months or 15,000 miles on the parts and labor. All it takes is one phone call, and you will see the difference between Mark's operations and those of other competitors.
